Jake Cregger is a new drum hero of mine. Listen to this and fight any army that comes at you. It’s better than Nails’ Abandon All Life, and is probably my favorite record in the genre. Favorite track: Growing Meat.

immutable indicative of seeing them live, which is akin to standing next to a jackhammer while a few guys with very loud amps drown out everything else. the epitome of everything they've ever done, similar to what primitive was for the endless blockade. strongest possible recommendation. Favorite track: Endless Seizure.

I can't tell if this is grincore or siege weaponry. so fast, so vicious, so heavy, a total encapsulation of what makes the genre awesome.

Triac’s seething yet opaque style continues to evolve/devolve with each release. “Pure Joy - Numb Grief-stricken Animals” shows the band in their most lean, mean, and speed-focused form to date. Throughout they are sprinting on a razor's edge, then swan diving into feedback-laden, angular bass-driven drudgery. As always, Triac’s idiomatic nature is on full display sonically and visually with all recording and artwork duties handled by the band to match the sound and sentiment of the music.
